The Anthropology of the New Media in the Philippines

Dr. Raul Pertierra's "The Anthropology of the New Media in the Philippines" (Institute of Philippine Culture, Ateneo de Manila University 2010) is now available on VLES to PWU faculty and graduate students. The work examines how technology enters into the everyday life of Filipinos. Dr. Pertierra previously taught at the University of South Wales in Australia and in the graduate programs at the University of the Philippines, De La Salle University and Ateneo de Manila University. He is currently a Research Fellow at PWU and organized the Lecture Series on Social Development under the auspices of the PWU President's Center for Global Studies.

All graduate students who have defended and passed their Thesis/Dissertation are required to furnish the CHED Library an electronic copy of the final research report of the thesis/dissertation in CD-ROM format.
